Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Oakland, CA

Compensation: 85K-105K

We are looking for a rockstar Facilities Maintenance Technician for our cultivation facility in Oakland. At the heart of any cultivation operation is the need for reliable and functional mechanical equipment.

As the Facility Maintenance Technician, your role is to maintain all building equipment and minimize hardware downtime as much as possible. This effort ensures our facilities are safe for our team and always operating at maximum.

You will work with the Director of Operations to develop a maintenance schedule, execute routine maintenance, and perform emergency repairs, preventing or resolving operations, safety, or comfort issues. You must also possess the technical skills to install new equipment and oversee facility/room upgrades..

Working knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of common terminology, practices, methods, and tools related to building and equipment upkeep (and repair) is required.

Required Qualifications:

? 2+ years of experience in general building maintenance and repair.

? Emergency on-call rotation is required.

Skills and Knowledge:

? Perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance

? PVC and ABS plumbing

? Fitting and installation and proper gluing and fastening procedures

? Copper plumbing

? Fitting and installation and proper brazing and fastening procedures

? HVAC knowledge for diagnostic and repair

? Mild low and high volt electrical knowledge for diagnostic and troubleshooting

? Mechanical knowledge for diagnostic troubleshooting and repair

? Some data/networking knowledge, familiarity with control systems and their diagnostic troubleshooting and repair

? Exterior facility upkeep (weeds/trash abatement)

? Painting knowledge and experience

? Perform heavy manual labor

? Safely and effectively use, operate, and maintain specialized equipment and tools

? Understand, interpret, and apply all pertinent laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures

? Independently organize work

? Set priorities

? Meet deadlines

? Follow-up on assignments and repair operations

? Demonstrate strong service skills

? Establish, maintain, and foster positive and effective working relationships

? Maintain records and files for performed service and repair

? Use English to effectively communicate ideas and needs in person, over the telephone, and/or in writing
