​Our client, a reputable cannabis brand in Denver, is seeking an experienced and multi-faceted Human Resources Manager to guide the company’s HR services, policies, and programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure all company policies and procedures comply with federal and state laws
- Enforce the review, maintenance, and communication of records required by law
- Research salary reports and market data to determine competitive compensation packages
- Advise management on policies regarding equal employment opportunities, wages, and benefits
- Create and/or update employee handbooks outlining all companywide policies and procedures
- Recruit, interview, test, and select employees for all open positions throughout the company
- Plan and conduct new hire orientations
- Oversee all employee relations and conduct trainings such as safety or sexual harassment as required
- Mentor supervisors on best practices related to hires, promotions, performance reviews, corrective action, and terminations
- Investigate employee incidents to determine the most appropriate and professional response
- Prepare and administer separation notices as well as conduct exit interviews
- Miscellaneous duties, as assigned  

Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s Degree or HR certification, preferred
- 3+ years of previous Human Resources experience
- 2+ years of previous management/leadership experience
- Familiarity with both state and federal cannabis regulations
- Pragmatism and effective conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and compliance

Compensation: $80k-$90k/year DOE
